Anyone else a friggin' huge fan of MMA who ALSO isn't attracted to this game? I admit, I'm mildly curious about the 3rd version of the game. But I'm so discouraged from the lack of fun I had playing the previous two versions that I have almost no desire to give UFC Undisputed 3 a chance.
Hmmmmm. Interesting.
It's all subjective obviously, but it seems that it is very hard for MMA games to be as fun as some other types of video games. And I say this as a very casual gamer, not some hardcore gaming nerd who finds nearly any game fun.
You know what my favorite fighting game of all time is? Mortal Kombat. To me, that was a genuinely FUN game to play. I never got into Street Fighter, but I imagine that was closer to fun for me than something that tries to simulate MMA in real life. I'd rather watch MMA on TV but rather play Mortal Kombat vs. Undisputed.
Makes me wonder what a UFC Mortal Kombat would look like, actually. Imagine playing Frankie vs. Bendo outdoors in front of a crowd of Shaolin monks. {{dickhard!}}
It's kind of bleh. Way more of the same with slight improvements.

Again, I may be biased, but I love NHL games, an I'm hardly even a fan of the NHL or hockey. Those games MAKE ME more interested in the sport though.

how is the create a Fighter aspect in this game??can you make a Rickson Gracie or ALexander karelin right out of the gate or do you have to build him up by playing first?
mma games never piqued my interest, even though I heard the ea mma ones were good. Like FadeToBlack, if I were to play fighting games I'd go with something like Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter IV they just seem way more entertaining.

It's another sequel by THQ, anyone who knows the video game industry should be smart enough to pass on that fact alone
After the monstrosity that was Undisputed 2 - No thanks, not interested.
I am thoroughly addicted to this game. I haven't played Final Fantasy XIII-2 once since UFC came out, and Final Fantasy is my favorite series.
