I saw this gantry crane on craigslist.  This thing is sized to fit over a vehicle, but built to lift a fucking cruise ship...

the dude wants 2k for it....here is one that can lift a ton for less than half the price

yeah, but you will never find anything short of thor's hammer that would require a beam that size for the size of that gantry crane...

Overkill is a good thing. Its probably not high enough to lift anything near it's capacity. Gurantee it never breaks though.

Doesn't look like much clearance, based on the truck next to it. Also, good luck finding a smaller trolley that will fit over that flange.
