Yet the UG seems to give 0 fucks about the fact they are fighting on the same card this weekend.
Conor's buying a tiger, Cruz is talking shit though he can't fight for a while, Dana is being a dick to people...
I don't care if Dana is abusing Conor's pet tiger by berating him and saying he has a small tiger cock to his face.
That stuff does not matter. One of the most legendary heavyweights in the history of the sport is fighting a good, young heavyweight this weekend and nobody hear is talking about it. This could be Big Nogs farewell fight. He looked good in his past few wins over the past six years though his losses were brutal and hard to watch. Fun fact-He has wins over six UFC champions in his career and 8 of his 9 losses are to Pride/UFC champions. His only loss to a non-champion is Roy Nelson and that happened at the age of 38. I hope he wins, I then hope he retires.
Entering the UFC at 33 Rogerio has not looked to be in peak form while with the promotion but he has still been able to beat Tito, and Evans despite his age. Rogerio vs Shogun II is the type of rematch the sport needs and the type of rematch paying fans deserve. Great fight. Could be amazing. I'm not rooting for either man, just rooting for an amazing display of their heart and skill.
The Nog brothers fighting in possibly their last UFC fights and doing so on the same card is the true main event of UFC 190 IMO. Though they are both 39 their possible last fights are far more interesting to me than Ronda vs an undeserving challenger who has achieved nothing of note as of yet in her career.
War Nogueira Brothers!
Pride Never Die!
Would love to see Nog sub Struve then walk away.
But he's not that guy. Fairly certain he's leaving MMA on his shield, like Liddell.
I know thats what I'm afraid of. It was tough to watch Mir fuck up his shoulder, real tough, then watching Nelson put him to sleep was brutal.
Watch his first and then second fight with Werdum to get an idea of how he has declined.

And agreed.
BJ Penn Forever - I know thats what I'm afraid of. It was tough to watch Mir fuck up his shoulder, real tough, then watching Nelson put him to sleep was brutal.I know- but all those shots he ate from monsters like Sapp, Fedor and Cro Cop were bound to catch up with him sooner or later.

His fight with Handy is an all time classic. Walking, talking legend of the sport.

Big Nog is IMO the second greatest HW ever in MMA. If not for 2 straight up losses prime vs prime, id rank Nog over Fedor. His resume is THAT good! Losses to guys like Mir and Cain when he was a shadow of his former self do not mean a whole lot in my book.

It makes no sense to argue who would beat who on their best day of their prime years. They fought twice in their careers and each won once.

I'd love one like that of me above my fireplace.
Maybe won't have the same effect with a 5'8 chubby white dude with shit tattoos though.

BJTT-OGtripleOG -Don't say that, I'm sure it would look just great, you should do it and post the results.Bootsy Collins -That's an awesome pic.TheEmperorRises -

Yes. Forgotten legends. Were beasts in pride days
2 of my fave all-time fighters.
I really hope Big Nog at least puts on a good show and if he loses he does by decision - too sad to see him lose by sub or KO.
Won't be so sad if Lil Nog loses only because his opponent is even more of a favorite. But I think this will be fight of the night so either way going to be great.
Watching Ronda play "stop hitting yourself" with Bethe will be fun too!
Let's be honest. Hate to say it but they are washed up. I'm scared for them, less for little nog because shogun is worn down too. :(
Am I the only person looking at that pic and thinking romoshop?
Their legend has kind of dimished since the good days of PRIDE. Big nog was such a killer in his run.
