LHW and HW are stacked, too many match ups already to sort out. MW is UFC's weakest at this point, so those are strikes against Souko and Fedor right there.
Fedor is the shit, and yes I'd love to see him in the UFC, but there are a few questions I have. What is his asking price? Would he do UFC publicity? Can he suddenly learn/speak English? Would he get savagely KO'd in his second 'tune-up' fight? One major problem is that he would have to be incredibly hyped, and with this sport (as we've seen recently) there's only a thin line between being the best and losing.
Overall, though, marketability is a pretty key issue helping Kang and hurting Fedor IMO

immaculata did you read beyond the thread title? I later explained why "UFC" needs Kang more than Fedor. I'm not approaching this from a fanboy perspective. But, yes, in that regard Fedor would be awesome to see in the UFC
