is TKO via cut. I just cannot see him getting KO'd or caught in a sub again.
How about the ÜBERKNEE ?
Anythings possible.
Fedor beat Zulu Jr. and Nagata
Good to see the "best" fighter fought the top competition

Anderson's few recent opponents were cut by the UFC .

This is indeed true.
Fedor is not unstoppable, i dont see him winning the GP. Overeem is a better fighter than Arlovski.

only a 10'er would compare Anderson Silva's opponents to a fat pro wrestler(Nagata) and Zulu Jr.

I don't know who you think is the best HW, but take anyones record and you can make excuses about their opponents being cans, past their prime, or whatever.
Bottom line is everytime they step into the cage or ring they are at risk of getting beaten. I think 32-2-1 is pretty damn impressive

Very insightful. I appreciate you giving this thought an entire thread of it's own. Lots to ponder here as I go about my merry way.
^^^dont feed the troll.
I think it is pretty clear that the Reem has been on pretty good form lately and this will be a big test for him. It is also true that Fedor is an amazing fighter but he hasn't been very active and his last 2 performances weren't amazing so he goes in as a bit of an unknown but there is no doubt in my mind that he will be on top form.

Thank you for feeling the need to contribute
Wait, there are more options here. He could fight and lose to Frank Mir, but then beat Heath Herring(again) proving he can beat the best in the world half of the time and earn that title shot.
And Arlovski, who is 0-3 in the last couple years, could beat Kharitonov -- who is 4-3 in the last four years, with losses to three fighters not in the top 10 and no wins over fighters in the top 10 -- and then conceivably Brett Rogers (who already KHTFO and got smashed himself in two of his last three) to earn HIS shot. Non-top 10 fighters fighting other non-top 10 fighters, all with shit recent records, to earn a title shot -- and, according to many here, the title of "#1 in the world".
WAR ANYTHING NOT ZUFFA!!!
fedor is an animal... i dont see him losing
" It is also true that Fedor is an amazing fighter but he hasn't been very active"
Really, he was scheduled to fight 4 top ten opponents in a row, 3 of them within the same year. How much more active should the number 1 fighter on the planet be?
"Lot of people throw that Zulu fight up as if that was Fedor's preferred opponent. The truth is that he didn't even want to fight on that card but Pride was trying to put all of their big names on that year end card. So Fedor basically did that fight as sort of an appearance for the fans and Pride. That fight was buried in the middle of the card which was already pretty stacked with big names;"
No no! Context and perspective is irrelevant! Fedor was given the #1 rank for beating Zulu! If you repeat it enough, it becomes true.
Fedor fighting as the 6th fight on a 12th fight card. That is just how insane Pride was
