The Perfect Pushup?

Just got this as a gift. Anyone have any experience with it? I used it and the pushups seem WAY more brutal. The workout that comes with it seems pretty good but I don't know that they workout all the muscle groups it claims.

I bought it. I don't believe all the hype, but doing 20 proves its better than a not-so-perfect pushup.

I like them

I also got the perfect pushup this holiday and I agree with u 100%. My arms and chest are so sore from just 2 days of using it. I had no problem doing 60 pushups before i got them now doing 60 with the workout that comes with it is really difficult for me to complete.

How about splaining how this perfect pushup is different from my modified, significantly challenging yet not perfect pushup?

Thanks,

If there are other opinions, I'd be curious to hear them.  Looks like BS to me, but I've never tried them.

Curious about it also...

Are u getting a better workout???

I actually bought them 1 month ago and the rotations needed to do the push up while going up and down works your arms more than usual. It doesn't make the push up super hard, but it does make it slightly harder and even though you will not feel the burn in the arms the next day you will. I recommend it. I got it off buy.com with google checkout for $29 shipped.

Also using this I feel no strain at all on my wrists.

good review

i agree with CChen, I have used it for a couple of months now and have noticed a huge difference, much more than a normal pushup, I believe it was designed by a SEAL.

i tried it in the store

noticed the turning motion worked my chest more then a regular pushup

jesus, i got it for xmas too...must have been a mass email i missed

I have had it and really like it.

i can bang out 50 pu w/ease

w/ the pp???

like 27

Now, if only there was the perfect sit up.

ab lounger^?^

I got them too...Christmas rocks

I find the Perfect Push-up is a good work out and it's better on my wrists than a normal push-up.  So I like that aspect of it as well.

surely a good device and not some get fast scheme by some company. I also use the ab wheel which runs like $10 and that works out your stomach extremely tight.

One way you can see how effective it is is do 3 sets of 20 the first time you use if possible and realize how you don't really feel the soreness and then try flexing your chest and arms then feel the soreness and tightness more internally. Strange, but I am sure others here can agree.

"the perfect sit up"
thats actually just your conventional unassisted flat sit up..single best ab exercise.

You can get similar effects by doing push-ups on a pair of 5-10 pound dumbells, using the grips to get better wrist positions, & switching positions to shift the work around between chest/tri's/shoulders.
