The Power of the English Language.

Its pretty incredible what influence the English speakers from 1600-2020 have had on the world.   

The EU recently voted to maintain its primary language as being English, even though England, and the UK, are no longer in it!

Also, I just saw this picture.  Its from a few months ago, in India.  The Indians greet an official Chinese leader with a message -  in English.

Imagine the UK, or USA greeting a party from Japan, in another language, like French.   Its unthinkable.

British Empire and American culture made English the "lingua franca" and at this point, I don't see how that can ever change.

English is the language of the maritime world. Good luck teaching the world's sailors Mandarin.
