Do you all think the motivation behind keeping kids at home is that it’s sufficiently dangerous for them to go to school, or, is it simply that kids gathering in large groups, while relatively safe from Covid themselves, will spread Covid to each other and then their families and then ultimately to people that are high risk (older people and people with compromised immune systems)?
Are we keeping kids out of school for their sake or for the sake of other, at risk, demographics?
I truly belive they have no fucking clue what they are doing and why they are doing it.
I personally think that was the case back when things were initially shut down in the spring of 2020 and why they remained closed for the next few months but I think that at this point we have a better understanding of the risks involved for kids themselves and also for other demographics that would be affected indirectly by kids being in school.

All of the above. I don’t know how effective this is against spreading, but that’s the reasoning behind the virtual classrooms.
On a side note, elementary schools seem to have much lower confirmed cases than 6-12 in my isd.
My wife has covid-19. I've been fucking her twice a day. I keep testing negative. From my personal account it's hard to believe that this is super contagious

Your bitch gave it to me and I only fucked her ass, got a BJ and came on her face! What gives?
I'm guessing High School and College kids spread covid more than others just by the way they conduct themselves. Oh well
That’s what I’m seeing where I live, at least for the k-12 kids. The elementary school by my house is operating at about 50% capacity and only 4 confirmed cases (2 students). The high school near by has had at least a couple of dozen.

This is the key plus teacher unions.
Why not get 100% pay for staying home and doing a fraction of work while crying about public safety.
My sons physical education teacher puts out a slide show with what exercises to do for the week. In order to get credit you have to click “Turn in” in Google classroom. and that’s it. 5 minutes of her work FOR THE WEEK and 100% of pay.

Not much chance for transmission in 30 seconds.
When you put it that way, I am not left scratching my head with curiousity
Unions can refuse to endorse sending teachers back to work and have unrealistic guidelines for safe working conditions. Not sure if they have changed but earlier this year the teachers union in my city would only endorse teachers returning to if there were 14 consecutive days with 0 new covid cases in the county.
