Vagner has nothing to loose and can only win.
He is small but he has good skills.
I have watched his Kimura DVD series and it was released before Danaher, yet it looks pretty similar from the content:-)
How would anyone outside of grappling nerds ever get excited for this stuff lol. I love it, but from the outside looking in it’s pretty cringe sometimes lol.

I mean BJJ is a cult so...
Looking forward to this match.
Out of the blue but I think a Vagner vs Dillon Danis match would be a great match-up and be insane.
Gordon had an envelope with how he was going to win before the match, said open after
He drew a picture of a triangle

probably the oldest trick in the book of having a different envelope for each submission
He gave the envelope to the play by play guy who held it thru the match & opened it after without Gordon being anywhere near him.
Sure it could be a trick but the play by play guy would have to be in on it .
And being that he was obviously toying with the guy & could’ve tapped him anytime/anyway he wanted to I don’t see any reason to suspect it’s a trick.
Going back the last maybe 3 years I don’t recall anyone even making Gordon seem to even try.
As good as some of the other top guys are they’d never set up a sub & be confident enough to not take it.
Gordon clearly fools around for minutes every match & then gets serious.
It’s obvious.
He the best right now by such an absurd degree that it’s ridiculous.
Guys as great as buchecha seem to have no idea as to how to even go about setting up an offense on him.
Looks to me like they all spend the whole match desperately struggling to survive.
I’ve never seen a grappler even close to as dominant as Gordon is now.
Don’t like his cockiness anymore that anyone else but we all must admit that he’s not only backed it up but that he’s orders of magnitude better than the second best guy. So it’s not cocky. It’s fact
I wish it was still competitive at the top but it’s not. At all.
I feel embarrassed for whoever he’s facing

I agree with this. I really hope he doesn’t go into MMA because I do think he’s the best nogi grappler ever and him doing MMA would likely be like Jordan doing baseball…good but stick with your true talent.
I’m in a giant group chat with a bunch of Brazilians, and they hate him so much. They’re convinced Preguiça would beat him a third time, but at this point I doubt it.
