Echo's are nice because the start and run with little maintenance.  They are a little underpowered in my experience but still a good saw.  I prefer the little ones for a climb saw where weight is a real issue.

Nothing beats a Stihl for a ground saw though.

Fuck ache just typed a whole paragraph on mauls. Anyway the jist is this is my go to a 4.5 husky. Splits huge trunks of pecan and mesquite like butter but live oak is a bitch esp if it's green too many knots
