I was at their camp for 2 weeks and he looked different in the cage then he did in the gym. The reason is what they need to find and correct.
BJ always looks like a monster in training camp. For whatever reason, it doesn't always translate over into the fight. Sometimes you see him absolutely brilliant and other times he just flat out performs like shit. You would have to think it's a correctable problem, but it's happened way too many times throughout his career where he has lost fights he probably should have won. I've always felt BJ was too much of a perfectionist and that to me is the reason why he doesn't perform the way he should. being a perfectionist has allowed him to accumulate the skills he has, but I think it also hinders him in his performance in fights. It's like he either brings his A game or his F game. There's almost no in between and that's just not good when it comes to competing as it's just impossible to be at your best every fight.
