I was with you there about getting the left hand dominating opponents right hand and not allowing opponent to hold lapel. It was good up to the point you pull guard. But, as far as grip goes, you are on the right track.

thanks a lot! i like to throw too, but there were other much more qualified judoka than i teaching at this camp, so i stuck to sitting down :d haha
