When Tito had that put in his contract,I have to believe that there was not going to be any money involved.Just straight up 3 rounds of boxing.
Then Tito changed his tune for whatever reason when it came fight time.
I always assumed it was because beating up his boss would not have been good for him, career-wise. LOL
I thought it was supposed to be a closed door thing but then Dana decided to make a show etc out of it & Tito wasn’t getting compensated.
But I dunno. Maybe Dana actually did work him in training & Tito didn’t want embarrassed. Probably a handful of people know.
I always thought they took a page out of WWE playbook and tried to set up a boss rivalry like Vince McMahon and Stone Cold did.
