I'm bored af and started watching this on Amazon Prime. First person featured is UFC alum Ron Van Clief. Kind of a fun watch if you're into martial arts history. Its mostly ridiculous but cool too.

Wow…….martial arts have evolved so much since then. I wonder what it will be like in 40 years. Is MMA the pinnacle of martial arts evolution as far as all around effectiveness?? Thanks for posting OP.

Yep, I wonder too like in 10 yrs what fighters are gonna look like who would “just destroy” fighters of today like Izzy, Conor, Jones if they fought!

Wow! definitely a blast from the past! All of these guys were from the NYC Area, and were known as bad MFers at the time. Be on the lookout for another doc released at that time titled “The Warrior Within” features some of the same guys! A real fun watch and a history lesson!
