Is it possible that Benson's incredible, seemingly unnatural abilities, along with his undying allegiance to his Lord Jesus Christ as evidenced by his post fight speeches and angel wings could all be clues in a 2,000 year old mystery that lives on to this day?
Could a portion of Bendo's success be due to the fact that the "toothpick" that he supposedly carries with him inside of his mouth is not actually a toothpick in the traditional sense?
I along with several undisclosed experts have been looking into this seemingly bizarre activity by the former light weight champion and we have reached the conclusion that the supposed "toothpick" that Benson carries with him at all times and is so secretive about is in fact a piece of the cross that his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was crucified on.
This is a family heirloom of sorts that has been handed down throughout the millennia from generation to generation starting with St. Peter who witnessed the crucifixion and ending with Ben Henderson. It bestows great power to all those who posses it and is a huge part of Benson's success.
Long have historians, collectors, archaeologists, and even dictators searched for pieces of the one true cross to add to their collections. Some of them even hoping that such an artifact would grant them otherworldly, god like, abilities.
I think we can safely say that Bendo is in possession of at least one small sliver of the one true cross and perhaps even more. Let's hope that he doesn't get involved with any bad apples within the illegal antiquities trading markets as that could ruin his career.
