A young Larry Holmes is closing in on a world title shot, he just needs one more big win.....
George Foreman, still rebuilding after losing to Ali, needs to prove he still has what it takes to be champion...
The pair meet, who takes it?
It's a dangerous fight, but Holmes would jab and move to a decision. Foreman still had stamina issues, and ended up seeing Jesus in the locker room after losing to Jimmy Young, because he was hallucinating due to fatigue.
The Easton Assassin
Larry beats an unmotivated Foreman to the point that Foreman hallucinates and see Allah and becomes a Muslim minister after the fight. That said, I might be inclined to take a 1973 Foreman over a 1977 version of Larry Holmes.
That should read "unmotivated," I hate this phone app.
Foreman knocks him out
Holmes is the most overrated fighter of all time
martinburke - Foreman is still the wide punching guy who wouldn't jab, wouldn't pace himself.
Holmes takes a decision after surviving one or two hairy moments.
pretty much. holmes was pretty resilient and sharp with the ckils i think he gets past 70's foreman, but if they would have fought in the 90's i would have bet the kids and the mortgage on foreman
ShamusO'nyou - Foreman knocks him out
