Both Wagnney Fabiano and Vladimir Matyushenko have run out of competition in the IFL. Wagnney Fabiano would fit right into the mix in the WEC at 145.
Vladimir Matyushenko's last loss was to Arlovski - a weight class above his own. The Janitor would do well in the WEC against the likes of Stann, Cantwell and Marshall.
agreed. Wagnney is the man...very humble person, great coach and definitely deserving to be in the 145 lb mix in the WEC.
LMAO @ Karo moving to the WEC, are you fucking kidding?
They definitely should look to sign Fabiano when his IFL deal expires or the IFL tanks, whichever comes first.
OTOH, Stann's the new WEC posterboy. Zuffa's not going to screw that up by bringing in a good wrestler like the Janitor. I expect Stann to face a steady diet of strikers--Houston Alexander maybe.
What about Antonio Carvalho??
Wagnney, most know the man has sic submission skill but damn the other night on HDNet fights showed explosive KO Power as well; this man at age 32 needs to make the move to WEC posthaste!
Carvalho and Wagnney would be amazing additions to the WEC. Both world class, both always exciting.
assuncao to the wec!
they need glover texierra for their lhvweight division
Matyushenko is too good for the WEC LHW division. He should go straight to the UFC.
Fabiano would be a perfect fit for the WEC.
This thread is correct.
Vladdy Matyushenko (Even though as others have mentioned he really should be in the UFC)
Wagnney Fabiano
Antonio Carvalho
Glover Texiera
should all be in the WEC.
Eyelasher - agreed...
Karo should move down to the WEC...
and Condit should move up to the UFC...
I'd also like to see Ivan Menjivar in the WEC...
Good call about Condit and Karo.
they could also use andre gusmao for their lheavy div...his contract status was up in the air the last i read.
jay hieron vs condit would be a great fight too in the wec. hieron wresltes and strikes better than larson or prater.
Wow, great idea.
I'd also like to see Hieron vs. Condit.
Fabiano should definately get a bump up for sure.
IFL Fighters that would be great pickups for any organization

Antonio enjoys competing in Japan. A great place to train and lots of lighter weight competition.
I'm not sure if many of the 205ers in the WEC could compete with Vladdy.
Carvalho's been quiet since the upset loss to Takaya. I wonder where he'll show up next. I also wonder if the WEC has shown any interest in Hioki.
