One of the cards should be scrapped. They took 2 solid cards (Jones/Cormier in particular was a must-buy) and one injury turned them into 2 cards nobody gives half a shit about.
I'm not sure what the costs are associated with scrapping a card, but I have a feeling that these 2 combined will do around 300k buys. If you combine them, maybe you'll scrape 400-500k just by virtue of having 2 title fights and some guys with decent drawing power on the undercard like Kennedy and McGregor.
This is all speculation and it's possible the UFC knows what they're doing, but given recent buyrates I find it unthinkable that another two back-to-back PPVs headlined by Barao/Dillashaw and Johnson/No-Hoper are the way to maximize revenues.

All that ESPN hype is worthless as the mainstream fans will forget about their scuffle by January.
