They rented a 100k tent for this wedding.

Bad Monkey -
Mayfield - Prep, set up and tear down are what costs the most for a structure like that. That os a super nice tent.

My wife plans events. You can save a lot when you know what avoid spending money on. We spent $7000 on our wedding. We fed about 350 for about $3 a person.

That sounds nice. I wish I would have been there. I love hot dogs.

lol

Passive Jay -

they spent 3k to hire a company to take the furniture out of our clubhouse and store it so that they could rent different furniture.

BALLLLLLLLLLIN

How can the rental of a tent be 100k? He could own the fucking thing for that price.

What is the rate for the tent 10k dollars an hour? 5k dollars an hour plus install? I don't believe it is costing the dude 100k JUST for the tent.

100 People, Buffet Dinner and Dance, Southeastern Pennsylvania: Pole Tent $1,810 (photo above)

  • 40′ x 60′ Century Pole Tent  $1,390.00
  • 15′ x 16′ Oak Parquet Dance Floor $420.00

175 People, Buffet Dinner and Dance, Upstate New York: Pole Tent $3,355

  • 60′ x 70′ Century Pole Tent  $1,875.00
  • 20′ x 20′ Century Pole Tent (caterer with three sides) $255.00
  • Perimeter Lighting  $260.00
  • Lighting (caterer) $130.00
  • Window Side Wall  $260.00
  • 20′ x 20′ Dance Floor $575.00

There are all a few thousand dollars to rent, well under 10k on the website. They look 100x better than what he paid 100k for. Not big enough? Okay fine, I'll take 3....30k MAX

We probably spent about 500 bucks total on our wedding.

ArmbarKing - More money than brains.

he made his money in commercial real estate so i would say about equal

What is his subscription to Loot Crate?

I can understand people being skeptic. when i see the catering manager tomorrow I will ask her what company the tent is from, i might be able to find something on the internet confirming the price

tent doesnt look like it would cost 100k to make

In for the eventual and ongoing OG research topic:

The happiness of a married couple is inverse to the amount of money spent on the wedding.

The flowers alone cost 25k at our weddings.

You have the money because you never fucking renovate your quickie marts.

Didn't the church basement have a gym/cafeteria?

I asked my mom what she was going to spend on my wedding. She told me the amount I said great, I'll take a check.

took my wife and eloped. Used the wedding $ from my mom for a down payment on one of my first good investments. I've rolled that $ 5 times now and turned it into 35x what the original check was for.

I spent a little close to 20k and I regret all of it

waste of money for 6 hours I don’t even remeber

All that money just so people can sit around and say to their spouse,"What do you think is the earliest we can get out of here without seeming rude? I want to get home and see the end of the game."

I think the only people who give a shit about expensive weddings are the bride and her mom.  For everyone else attending it's either a chore to endure or just a place to go for free food.

No matter what you say about me, you will always have a pass. I was a huge Brusier Brody fan.

Sorry man, just my experience from Detroit.

So your mom gave you money for a specific purpose and you were like ‘fuck you ma I’ll spend it on other shit lol’

she wanted to see you guys walk down the aisle you ungrateful bastard

My first thought was it must be a Chaldean wedding but we only have weddings on Sundays. And in your area they are at the same three places usually.

Slydawg, where do you live?  West Bloomfield?

Every Chaldo wedding I've been to has been at Shenandoa Country Club.

I don't live in MI. I'm in MI often for business or family. I have been to Shanandoa and Pennas many times. The videos I just posted were from a place in Rochester Hills.

Are you middle Eastern?

Not Middle Eastern but I live in Novi and went to school in Walled Lake.  Teach and train at a BJJ school in Commerce.  I know many Abros, Garmos, Achos, Bashis, and the like.  Lol.

Ma gets to walk through that door.

You can't put a price on that. Wise investment by ma.
