I'm splitting hairs here, (because pride is so much better than anyone else) but when Bas and play by play guy dejour go on and on about some Japanese punching bag before Silva or whoever destroys then is annoying.
Just make it more real.

Rampage - second half of tournament where his condition compared to Silva's was questionable.
CroCop - very green, early in MMA career, no sprawl yet
Mezger - not top 10 LHW, likes to put on a good show over actually winning
Kondo - 185 lbs fighter
Sakuraba - 185 lbs fighter
Dan Henderson - 185 lbs fighter

That was the first time Kondo had ever been knocked out, and it was stomps that did it. The punches stunned it but he was fine until the stomps. I wish he would have attempted his flying knee.
Because I used Silva as an example you guys lock onto Kondo like a pack of male dogs who just found a bitch in heat.
If you'd like me to chronicle the works and over hyped fighters I'm happy to do it if you guys can't abandon the hi-jack and address my original point.

cro crop was K-1 rules... silva took a risk in that fight and stood with him... who stands with cro crop.. plus silva had the best of the fight... fuckin yeah guys... silva is a chump... the fact that he wants to fight fedor and nog means he is a chump too...

With the exception of Saku, I don't recall any of these fighters ever fighting @ that weight! Hendo always fights around 195 - 200lbs but has beaten fighters like Mino, Babalu and just recently gave Mino all he can handle.
Sak always fights around 185 - 195 and beat Randleman, Rampage, Belfort, and stood his ground with Igor. and Kondo always fights @ 195 - 205 and whooped Frank, Schilt, gave a tough fight to Barnett.

Not an entirely accurate comparison. Tito's style is dependent on out-muscling his opponents, taking them to the ground, and holding them there. Thus any weight advantage is a big deal. Silva just smashes people with punches and knees standing. A 10 lb difference in a standup fight isn't as big a factor. Not to mention that we saw in the Rampage fight, or the Mezger or Crocop ones, that he is perfectly capable of unleashing his barrages on bigger and stronger fighters.
Kondo isn't a can.
