As a fighter, I wouldn’t do it. But, it’s absolutely fair game. And, much less objectionable than fake glove touches.

Ref has to get in there. If he is slow you are allowed to keep going. Legal, but not exactly classy.

It did not appear to be a blow as much as it was a push off.

Of course the end result can be the same.

The guy had absolutely no expectation of not being attacked.

Sucks but it's the fight game.

Definite punch. Weak punch and the guy went down more in protest or to stop anymore punches from coming......but definitely a punch.

No, the groin shot was more of a push than a kick is what I am speaking of.

That's what halted the action and allowed for the punch.
