I think so too. I worry that Askren goes right into a submission sequence or some sort of setup by nature of always being willing to go on top…It’s a good fight, both are legendary figures in MMA from a historical perspective they have impacted the meta directly.
If he just crushes Aoki then I think it’s a statement even if Aoki has fought at LW many times he’s a solid Welterweight with lots of experience against top tier competition.
