I was just playing some UFC Undisputed 2009 and some of the ratings for some of the fighters are ridiculous. It’s like they had someone do the ratings based on just their UFC.com profile stats alone without actually actual fights.
Yushin Okami is the 3rd worst strength rating of all MW. Rich Clementi has the 2nd best striking & worst sub defense at LW. Gouveia, Leites, Mir, & Lauzon have the best submissions in the game, better than Maia! Thiago Silva is better than Shogun, Chuck, Wanderlei, Franklin, and Hendo!
Before they release UFC Undisputed 2010, they should send their final fighter ratings over to the UG for some serious editing.
Agreed. They should do what they did last time with the rankings but post them on the UG before release for some editing and feedback. Frank Mir's stand up jumped huge for beating a half dead Mino and I don't think that should be the case.
Wanderlei doesn't have BJJ or looping hard punches...the biggest disgrace of the game

Heartbroken Lee - That would be a bad idea because the UG has an irrational hatred for certain fighters and underrates them (e.g. Bisping, Arlovski, Franklin, Kongo, Herring) and swings off the nuts of other fighters in an unwarranted fashion (e.g. Fedor, Rashad, Velasquez, GSP)
I'd say the UG has a pretty good handle on Bisping's skills. Pretty much everyone (except you wacky Brits) agreed that he had nothing for Hendo and was going to get knocked silly. If Bisping's constant circling into Hendo's power hand didn't convince you that he has some large fundamental flaws in his game, I don't know what to say.
The majority of the stats are bullshit. Griffin has some of the best sub offense in the game and hardest punches and kicks. WTF?
Rampage's clinch defense is also entirely too high.
They basically made it so the "stars" are impossible to beat without working your ass off. And the superman punches cause entirely too much damage when they barely land flush half the time.
They have a lot of improvements to make, and I think they will with the next one. I hope, anyway.
Also the right analog stick to defend and reverse transitions are exploited during online play. Makes the fights boring. The clinch needs work too, as when you get caught in it, it's a pain in the ass to defend and work your way out of it.
They gave Hardonk good subs and sub d too
The game seemed like idiots watched one random fight for each guy and built his skills off of that match.
Rampage's designer obviously saw the Marvin Eastman fight which is why he is invincible in the clinch with power uppercuts.
Here's a random statistic- Ben Saunders has the highest ground grapple defence in the game(88). Tied with Maia and higher than Nog, Penn etc
Frank Mir didnt gas out in the first round in one fight and now his cardio is extremely high- higher than Nog?? Mir is known for atrocious cardio and Nog for staying power.
Matt Serra has average submission defence in the 70s(realised this when I was easily kimura'd by Martin Kampmann)? He is an ADCC winner and even when he was exhausted Parisyan couldnt armbar him.
Josh Koschek is a great striker with terrible takedowns???Ok we know this is how he wants to be rated but it simply isnt true.
BJ Penn has a modest 83 on subs, Joe Lauzon owns him with 92 despite training under him.
