Penn's win over Hughes is one of the best in MMA history not only because Penn went up, but because he made it look effortless against a fucking monster in Hughes.

Hendo's win over Wand was epic. Ok, Wand was on the decline, but NO 205'er came close to doing what Hendo did. Savage stoppage.
Obviously Conor/Nate has to be up there as it was getting bad for Nate until he turned it around, and that WAS a turn-around!
Gomi/Aurrelio was pretty big at the time as Gomi was on a tear and was expected to rip through him, but MA did have a punchers chance due to his ground game being sick and the ground being Gomi's weak point. Still, MA was miles behind Gomi and his achievments.
Randleman/Crocop. That deserves a mention. Had Kev beaten Fedor that would have been the greatest streak in MMA history, and the best year for anyone of that era.
Lil Nog was ranked higher than Arona as well prior to losing to Sok. Having a pair of wins against the Reem, a sub win over Hendo and a razor thin loss to Shogun in one of the best fights ever in the GP. The same GP that Shogun blasted Arona.
Arona had lost to Shogun and Wandy then beat Reem leading up to the Sok fight.
Sok over Arona was much bigger as Arona was a legit top 5 dude at the time.

In all honesty lafever/Radach doesn't have an equal. Radach wan't a big star so not a lot know about it but it really doesn't get much more of an upset than that one.
