Just to let you guys know, I'm not really a fan of any of these teams. Nor did I make any bets netting me a huge sum of cash on any of these games.
Its simply nice to know that the game of football that I grew up loving really hasn't changed that much. Winning games in the playoffs is still about stiff, hardnosed defence, a physical and punishing running game coupled with minimizing turnovers and mistakes.
I thought with the rule changes in the offseason that the success of teams built like the Patriots, Falcons and Steelers would be a thing of the past. Glad to see I was wrong, and that the Mike Martz's of the won't take over the sport that I continue to love so much.
