lol seriously y would anyone take a fight on short notice nowadays in the ufc . how many is that now in the last few months take a fight on short notice and lose and get cut. too funny but hey we have guillard ehadling in a few weeks lol no disrespect to guillard he has alot of talent but how many chances has he got lol fuck fighting on short notice period . even if it would be ur first fight in the ufc u prolly will get dropped afterwards y even risk that.

Most fighters that get short notice fights are fighters that are already out or trying to work their way into the UFC though.
Wiman lost his short notice fight against Fisher and has made quite a nice career in the UFC since then.
i mean seriously even though leites has put a couple snoozers back to back he did take this last fight on short notice . i think a good example is mike c.( dont know how to spell his last name) he gets cut for losing on short notice and failed to make weight i think i read a thread here somwhere he said like a week later he still didnt feel right from the weight cut. he was trying to help out the ufc and that was his thx lol . serously if he didnt take that fight he prolly would still be in the ufc same for leites they could have waited for a fight and get the right training in and the results could have been different. sucks for the fighters man because at the same time maybe they get alittle extra for agreeing or something but its prolly not worth it in the big picture
