Tie-ups for the Ankle / Knee Pick

Hey all --

I've got a bunch of questions for you:

What are the best tie-ups to use to set up the ankle and/or knee pick?

Does anyone do the ankle or knee pick off of a headlock?

What would be the best tie-up to set up a nearside cradle flowing from an ankle or knee pick?

Could you use that same tie-up to flow into a nearside cradle if your 'plan B' move (if you can't get the pick) is an inside trip?

Could you use that same tie-up to hit a footsweep if you can't get the pick or inside trip?

The reason I ask all this is I would like to develop a chain of movements that begins on the feet, goes to the ankle or knee pick (plan A) or the inside trip (plan B) or the footsweep (plan C), and ends in a nearside cradle. I think I can put that all together, except that I don't know how to use a tie-up to initiate it.

What are your thoughts? Thanks!

I should add that my thought with all of these is that the ankle/knee pick, inside trip and footsweep all involve the same basic movement of controlling your opponents head to bring his front leg to where you want it. Since you would already have control of the head with these, and with the pick or inside trip you have control of one leg, the cradle is the natural pin move following the takedown.

I hope that makes sense.
