Time for Joe Lauzon's rematch with Florian

Kenny is now out of the title picture and Joe is just entering the prime of his career...

The first fight was great and I think the rematch would be even better. Both guys always go for the finish. Not to take anything away from Florian's win, but that illegal elbow with Joe on top of him that led to a stand up always tainted that fight for me a little bit. Joe worked to get that takedown and dominant position, only to have it taken away because he was illegally elbowed.

Let's see if Joe is ready to take that step up to the next level.

Sorry, I almost forgot...

All Frankie does is dance around
Fitch is boring
Anderson Silva is over the hill
Florian never fought any wrestler after Sherk till last night

This thread now meets the UG criteria

agreee joe lauzon loooked awesome last nite and kenny and bj just looked like former images of themselves

Creepy that fought last night takes it. I wonder what would have happened if he didn't get that illegal elbow the first time around. Not sure if that did damage or not.

What does that even mean? They looked like former images of themselves? That makes ZERO sense.

I still want to see Kenny rematch Diego Sanchez.

they looked weird n slow not like they did wen they were on top of their game

i say they do it and loser leaves town theyre both on their way out neway

frederic - Wait, you're going to compare Florian beating Gomi to JLau beating enema'n'cakeboy?

I'm not comparing them to each other at all. I just want to see the rematch

Nobody can dispute Kenny is out of the title picture for the future

Diego is not on his way out. He lost 2 fights to really tough guys. Every fighter goes through rough patches. Isn't Diego back at Greg Jackson's?

Could even go with:

Nate Diaz vs Takanori Gomi
Kenny Florian vs Joe Lauzon

If Joe wins, gets the winner of Gomi/Diaz in a #1 contender fight

I think Florian does the same thing that he did in the first fight if they rematch.

I could get behind Lauzon/Cole Miller though. Controversial fight on TUF 5, plus Miller holds a win over Dan Lauzon.  Would be an easy sell.

Why not Florian/Sherk rematch or make the Florian/Diego rematch.

Hopefully without the questionable spiking elbows from the guard.

Florian Sherk sounds good.

Lauzon against Guida would be something I would like to see.

I'd want to see Lauzon vs. Guida and the Florian / Sherk rematch!

If Florian and Lauzon both win then that rematch! Phone Post

After last nights performance im not too fussed who Joe fights, Just as long as it is soon.

Awesome fight, he looked on from the bell and you could just feel the demolition rolling in.

And to stay on topic. I do agree with this. I would like to see how this went
