Do you use a unique password for here?  I haven't received this warning.

That doesn’t necessarily mean the data breach is from this website. It means that your MMA.TV password saved by Chrome shows up on databases of breached passwords for your e-mail address, which could be from anywhere you use the same credentials.

https://haveibeenpwned.com/ is one site where you can check your e-mail address to see where the breach might have happened

pwned site is pushing heavily for 1password.

is that better or more secure than allowing my phone to manage my passwords?

I'm not changing my 3 number password!

I use Lastpass so that I can sync passwords across my phone, desktop, work laptops, etc. Not sure about   1password, but I imagine it’s about the same.

I think the built-in password managers are fine if you are doing the obvious: strong passwords, unique across different sites. You just miss out on some features like syncing to different devices.

All of my work accounts use generated passwords from Lastpass that are impossible to remember, and 2FA is turned on for every thing.

& you want a unique passwords and 2FA for e-mail accounts and bank accounts. Your Grindr account probably isn’t as important.

From there it led to 3 accts. It was strange that I stumbled on it.

I was using Google to search for a really old thread I wanted to bump since the search function here is useless. When I found it I wanted to bump it. Had to login to do that. As soon as I went to log in there I got that message.

Two of those accts are here.

1 is this one and the other one would be "tenoreleven" or "tenor11". I really can't recall. It was created years ago to ask a question I didn't want getting back to my real life and alot of people know who I am.

It was never even used. When I became a mod and Sagiv was showing me around the basement, when it came to how to use user logs he said "check out yours, lol". I had completely forgotten about that acct until I read about it in my log.

The third acct referenced a seldom used acct at randy newbergs site hunttalk. Different everything, no connection to each other really. My mma.tv acct information is 17 years old and I doubt that email even works.

I usually use brave browser for here and no bells have gone off so I really don't know.

Just throwing it out there fellas. That's actually the worst alarm I've ever really gotten here. Lots of dumb bullshit secretly driving invisible data mostly.

I got an email a while ago from some one saying they had my password and would release webcam footage, blah blah. The only place I used that password was here, so this place has definitely been compromised before.
