Sup guys, looking to increase my flexibility slowly. As the thread title says, need some tips! Thanks in advance
Go to YouTube; search under "Kelly Starett" or add search terms like knee, hips etc.
And, as a recipient of multiple hip procedures, work on your core. What you may think is tightness in your hips may be because muscles there are overcompensating for weak part of your core. Planks!
Try all the different ranges of motion of your hips, figure out which ranges you want to improve. Hip flexibility/mobility can be pretty angle specific (meaning that you might be very mobile in one direction but immobile in another). I'm a big fan of isometric stretching methods to improve flexibility and mobility so I would suggest looking into those.
Here is a basic resource which explains different types of flexibility and different ways to train flexibility:

I also suggest looking into Andreo Spina, Dewey Nielsen, Kit laughlin and Thomas Kurz' work.
Hashtag my buddy #eliteflexibility . Dude is good. Rafael Lovato is paying his way so he can be part of his ADCC camp in Brazil.
