Title Thai Pads

what do you guys think of the Title Thai Pads.

http://store.titleboxing.com/tp.html

The windy my first choice is 109.95. But they are expensive!

Title look good same size and all leather construction. And made in Thailand.

How about quality compared to Windy.

I've not used them before, but I've used many other Title-brand pads and they are excellent. I believe that you wouldn't do badly for yourself getting those....

Wait for a few other people to answer though....

We use the black and the red and they are both great. Although, the red one's are damn near bullet proof. Great pads.

From what I hear the Title pads are actually made at the Twins factory in Thailand. Same pad different logo.

Thanks guys. What is the difference beween the black and red. Except the 20 dollars?

Look like this may be an alternative to Twins and Windy.

They are, look at the little "Made in Thailand - Composition Leather" tag.

Oh, and the handle on the Title/Twins is much better than the Windy pads.

Guys, I'm sold. My students will love them. Now which ones the Black or the Red?

If you mean these black pads, they are NOT the same as Twins. Only the RED ones are...

RD is correct. While those are still decent pads, they are no where near the quality of the red.

anything I have ever seen that is made in Pakistan will suffer from ripped seems. the Thais seem to understand where they need to focus their efforts on Thai pad construction and design. those last Title pads look quite a bit different and, if you notice the krinkly looking leather on the bottom  arm strap, look like they are made with leather typical of Paki stuff.

did you get a chance to read http://mma.tv/tuf/index.cfm?ac=ListMessages&PID=1&TID=1001706&FID=23&pc=13?

It looks like the red ones are worth the additional bucks. Also, am i reading correctly that the red ones are just as good as twins and windy?

The red title pads are made by Twins, they are the same.

The red pads are worth the extra $$. Not sure what the real difference is
but a guy at my gym has the black pads and I don't like them. Another
guy has the red pads they have a much nicer feel.

Awesome guys.. Thanks for the feedback...

I guess people don't associate Title with Muay Thai. These are actually $30 less that the Windy..

I also have Title stuff and think it is great.

i have the red Title pads and they are great 3 years old and still holding strong.

I have the red ones and they are tough as hell. They are made by twins and they are as good as any thai pad out there.

TTT for my info.

I just received my pads from Title last night. It took about a week to recieve. They look and feel awesome. However, they are heavier than I expected. I guess that is not a bad thing. Cannot wait to try them out this weekend.

broke in my new pads this weekend.. They are a little heavy but I guess it is the high quality. So far very happy...I recommend them. No need to spend the extr bucks on Twins or Windy. The only problem is they come in velcro only not buckle....

How does the velcro normally stand up over time?
