Why did Rampage get a third shot at Vandy?
Apparently apples ARE in fact oranges?
It's too bad for Chuck that he didn't get the third match with Tito, could have ended his career with a W...although if he won I'm sure he would have wanted to keep going.
Tito probably would have kod chuck sadly

I like Tito, but when has Tito KO'd anyone standing or even rocked anyone?
Chuck was sat down by Rampage, Evans, Shogun, and Franklin, all guys who can legitimately crack.
Maybe because Tito didn't win another fight after he lost to Chuck the 2nd time... I mean Chuck only won once after that 2nd Tito fight but he was still being competitive. Tito was injury riddled and fought less than once a year from 2006 on.
Rampage was still a top contender and legit deserved another shot at Wandy.
Tito dropped wanderlai, people seem to forget that, he rocked shamrock standing too in their first fight. And it wasnt a cracked skull that made him pull out, it was neck surgery, very big difference.

Still being competitive after their 2nd fight? Chuck was KO'd multiple times after that fight which is why Dana pulled the plug.
Tito vs. Iceman III would be epic.
Herring In A Fur Coat - Tito was supposed to get a third shot at Chuck. Then he cracked his skull - or something along those lines - and pulled out of the fight. Liddell fought Franklin instead and was forced to retire by Dana....
Cracked neck :)

When Tito dropped Wanderlei he was 25. He's 35 now and has no power. He isn't the type of guy that would have KOed Chuck. Tito's takedowns are shitty now too and Chuck still has good wrestling, Chuck's skills haven't deteriorated much, only his chin. Tito was the perfect fight for him. Franklin was much more dangerous and at the time everyone knew this.

Competitive and losing are different, Chuck is clearly still competitive. He was beating Rashad and Franklin until the KOs.
Ortiz is actually still competitive as well, which is a credit to him because his body abandoned him long ago. Tito no longer has an explosive shot or the power and strength he used to have.
Cnuck is washed up because he has skills but no chin, Tito is washed up because his body just can't execute. Both are still competitive, but are rarely going to win.

close split decision against Jardine. Beat Wand. I would say he was still be competitive until about 09. The Rashad KO put his career away.
Chuck would still hurt Tito, bad.
