well according to his website.. sources say it involves COMEBACK.. but.. we shall see..
Here is the scoop-
Tito's manager made a small mistake and his "Q" rating is higher then they thought.
A certified letter has been sent to Zuffa--
Tito is now demanding 610,000 per fight with a 2 million dollar signing bonus.Zuffa has 12 hours to respond or they are out of the running for his services!
lol
Tito's getting a haircut!!!
Any news about his head has to be big...
hzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!
goes back to nap
well it's today...
Jeff, I have got the mail.. will reply as soon as I can but right now im kinda busy with exams at the moment

I am sure I missed you addressing this at some point, but it seems you are now far less sympathetic to a fighter taking a stand on what he perceives as his fair compensation than you once were.

I may have changed a bit-- heck I have no problem with any fighter trying to get what they can.I guess my problem is the way in which he is doing it.
Nothing makes me madder then an athlete in ANY sport that doesnt honor their contract and demands to renegotiate a deal they were happy to sign at one point.
I own a business and I guess I can see Zuffa's side of this a lot easier then Tito's.He held them hostage over a contract, refused to fight Chuck unless his deal was redone... etc. Now he demands an amount that is unreasonable.
I guess I think that Tito needs Zuffa a lot more then Zuffa needs him.
Fighters deserve to bargain for whatever they think they can get and they have every right to set that price as high as they can.
But you have to be smart enough to know when you are in a position to negotiate-- I have seen things like this backfire --plus add that he wouldnt honor his deal before-- I dont think he has much bargaining power.
I still say Tito will eventually realize this and beg Zuffa for another opportunity.
All your bread are belong to Tito.
i met Tito on June 4th , my friend asked him when he was gonna fight again and he said probably in November , i wonder for what organization

I agree with you wholeheartedly on the sanctity of a contract. I also agree that Tito did Zuffa and himself a disservice by holding them hostage during his last contract. I further agree that he is overestimating his current value, probably largely at the urging of a manager who does not understand the unique marketplace that is major league MMA.
Still, he is effectively a free agent at the moment, so he has the right to demand any amount he sees as fair compensation. I was tweaking you a bit because I am a veteran here and I followed closely the saga with RaW refusing to fight for what they determined to be inadequate wages. At that time, you were a pretty strong proponent of the concepts of shaping the market and taking a stand to improve the economics for all fighters.
The only way Tito is get his 'comeback' is if he scrapes it off the back of the ring-girl's throat.
"he will be fighting tank on ROTR"
Source?

Ok, I am still waiting on the big news.
me to.
maybe it will involve MMA organization that will put together the Frank Shamrock vs Cesar Gracie event?

I cant really disagree with you-- I guess the difference bewteen Tito and rAw is that although rAw demanded more then they were worth at times--they always honored EVERY deal they signed without question.
I still believe in fighters getting all they can etc.. as long as they do it in an honorable way.
Tito is still a top contender--he still has fans--he can sell a show-- If he want to hold out for big bucks--I am all for it.
But he will realize--as rAw did at some point that he isnt in the power position right now.He can still get paid great from UFC-- but he has burnt bridges and they need repair.
He will be back-- no doubt about it. But he will be back on Zuffa's terms IMHO.
Even if he fights Tank at ROTR, they are not going to pay him anywhere near the amount Zuffa used to pay him.
So why is he doing this? Tell me which organization would pay Tito his $350000 or a better offer than Zuffa.
Is Tito a dumb business man?
yea I have a feelin he'll be back in the UFC also
