sherlock1988 - To me it was speed and angles that won tj that fight, let's give him Cruz to match him first.I was suprised barao diddnt throw more. Thinking about it now in a potential fight with jose, he looks more flat on his feet (possibly due to cut) than he did when he burst onto the scene.
To answer you tho I think Aldo would slow tj down with leg kicks, but who knows.

I think since TJ had some height and reach on Barao, he and Aldo would size up rather nicely and that would be a VERY fun fight to watch.
They are the same height, but TJ has a smaller reach by 3 1/2 inches and was visibly the smaller man in the octagon.

Aldos leg kicks are too much for pretty much anybody, thats what has made him so dominant imo, and it would be no difference with dillashaw, by the second round his opponents have always lost all spring and power in their punches
I was very surprised that Barao didn't throw more leg kicks to slow TJ down. Aldo would not make the same mistake.
Barao threw leg kicks. A lot of them missed because of TJ's dancing
