Wagnney, who has lived in Canada (not Brazil)
since 1998 and would therefore be considered a
canadian resident, did not make he top 5 even as
the TKO world champ.
If he is so lightly thought of by TKO why did he fight
for the title?
Wagney has only fought once in the pasy 4 years though. I guess they might be considering that.
Wagnney is the TKO champ, so he is exempt from the rankings as they pertain to the Canadian Belt, at least that would be my guess.
Bah, The presence of the force is still strong inside of me.
How is Goulet ranked ahead of a guy he ducked like mad while he was champ?
...could that be Bruckmann???
Sounds like crap to me. Wagnney wins the belt so he should be no.1
I pretty sure he would fare well in match against any of those top five guys. A few don't even have a prayer in winning a match.
When will the Canadian Belts and the world Belts start to be combined?
Loaf will be back in the top five very soon. The LW division is becoming very competitive so it will be no easy task.
????
Who had a say in these rankings...I think I disagree with every category.
Again, if these are strictly TKO rankings, I won't say a word...if they are Canadian rankings...um, NO.
the thread title indicates these are TKo rankings, and the post makes it clear that they are for Canadians, Wagnney for instance is looked at as a Brasilian.
loaf.. I haven't seen you confirm it, but are you and Antonio fighting June 5th?
Antonio will be fighting June 5th but I will not. We were in negotiations but could not work it out. I am hoping to fight WFF in July. The possibility was discussed with the promotor Mr. Jason Townes at the last show but we have not had the chance to speak since. I am busting at the seams and I hope that WFF will be my next mission.
Very unfortunate that you couldn't work something out with the IHC guys. I've spoken to both Eric Moon and Rich Santoro (Shooto Rep) and they are both good guys. I really want to see you get back in there and get a few fights under your belt before coming back in Montreal.
If I see anything else out there at 155, I'll let you know. It'll be a little tough because I have my own guy at 155... I actually recommended you to Eric, but by that time I mentioned it, he had already talked to you.
BTW... if you ever want to head down to Arizona for some extra training (and the nice weather) with Santino Defranco and the guys there, just let me know. You can stay with Santino while you are there.
TTT for loaf getting back in the ring soon....o yeh and fighting as well
PMR
Whatever Wagnney's ranking, do we think Mr. Hominick and Wagnney will fight next? Mr. Hominick's attitude, it seems to me, has always been that he will fight anyone that is deemed right in terms of his carreer by Shawn Tompkins and himself. However, I wonder if Patry will want this fight to happen next. I personally hope so.
If not Mr. Hominick next, then who? It should be a name guy. I can think of two guys that would be great opponents but neither of them will fight for peanuts.
ttt for Professor Wagnney Fabiano vs. Mark Hominick on the next TKO card. I suspect it would be quite a draw, relatively speaking.
Maybe I was wrong but the winner of Lee/Fabiano was to fight Hominick. I am sure I read that here direct from TKO.
That will be an awesome fight. We as fans will be in luck that day.
Go Mark !!!
Dougie,
I believe I read that also. Let's keep a good thought.
