todays workout=pukie

woke up this morning and randomly built a workout to do in my small little studio, as i didnt have enough time to hit the gym.

i did 5 rounds of

25 burpees

10 handstand push ups

20 V-ups

5 one legged squats each leg

it took me 40 minutes and after the 4th round i knew i over did it, but made my self go through with it.

its been nearly an hour since and i am still on the verge of throwing up..

what r burpees?

I tried running stair-sprints for the first time a couple months ago, i was in the same boat. I felt like i was going to die, it took almost two hours of inactivity before i felt normal.

The CrossFit workout called "Fran" does this to me. 4 minutes of work followed by feeling like a bag of ass for an hour.

heres one that got me to puke (ive been too scared to do it again sadly):

(all done very fast, with 1min break afer completion)

2o pullups
20 handstand pushups
20 farmer walks with 40lb dumbells

i got through 3 rounds of this, collapsed in a cold sweat, remained in a state of borderline nausea for 20 minutes or so, and finally puked.

its that 20 minutes of nausea where your not sure if your going to puke or not that are the worst.

I nearly puked after doing

5 x 500m sprint then 20 Burpees. I was suprised becuase it doesnt sound that hard , but going all out on the first sprint makes the rest of it a nightmare. The last set of burpees literally had burps thoughout it.

(running around the block is 500m rather than the 400m that is suggested)
