This was a striking only match and ANYONE who thought it was EVER MMA is wrong. Morrison wouldn't even agree to knees or elbows standing. Stover fought because he said he would-Make no mistake this was NEVER an MMA bout. Morrison made sure of that.

I was there and saw the fight. The first half of the fight looked to me like it was a work. I really hate to say that, but Tommy didnt look to be the least bit in danger, Stover didnt show much technique. And Tommy's punches were like half speed. Now either Tommy was taking it very easy on him for the first half of the fight, or it was a partial work. But at the end before the ref stepped in, Tommy definatly landed a good hard combo of punches that didnt look held back at all. But Stover looked like he was outta gas after about 45 sec. in there. It just really wasnt a good match up at all. I know that this was supposed to be a win for Tommy, but it just didnt look good at all.

Maybe Stover was to afraid to hit him. LOL If I am fighting someone with HIV (which would never happen), I wouldn't want to make the guy bleed. One cut and I would quit.
