I am on my fifth Little Tony P Berimbolo DVD. They have all been defective. Each disc stopping play at different times.
After my troubles I checked the reviews on his other DVDs. His hook flip DVD has three reviews. Each of those 3 saying the disc are "unwatchable" or "defective".
All the while Budovideos telling me its my DVD player.
Even though its the only instructional in English covering the Berimbolo , DO NOT BUY IT.
Have a nice day
I have the Sao Paulo Pass DVD and it works perfectly.
Also what you have posted is a hardware issue review of whoever printed it.
Ok. for homie above. The DVD review covering the material covered is crap. The last DVD I received actually plays 44 minutes. I was pleased to see that the DVD is broken down into a phases that relate to the actual fight to submission. Meaning setup, the actual fight/what your fighting for, and the finish.
That being said the material jumps around a ton. Tony is all over the place.
Tony also uses a blue belt as his assistant in the DVD that doesn't always seem to know where to go.
I get the Brandon Quick vibe outta this guy.

maybe you dont like the dvd but at least Tony has legit rank from a world respected bb..

He's definitely not Brandon Quick. There's a video that talks about his training history on YouTube. Weird how you discredit someone's lineage for a defective DVD.
Also did you happen to try the disc on a computer? I have a few Japanese instructionals that only work on my comp and don't work on my ps3

Maybe material covered..... Did I say ever once say it was bc of a defective DVD? Nope
Email Tony and let him know.
I did and I bought it from Budovideos so I have to take it up with them.
Did you try it on different DVD players?
Throwing the Brandon Quick allegation out there was out of line.
The Bq comment might of seemed out of line. I guess I could of said. This DVD seems overly rushed, and made for money.
I don't think he's much of a DVD producer, but I've found his material and teaching to be excellent.
Tony is as legit as they come. His DVD's have always worked fine for me and I've learned a ton from em.
The Bq allegation is flat out horrible. You need to apoligize for that one.
My bad. I explained myself above.
Tony is a great guy. I'm sure you can email him directly and get a quick response and solution.
www.soulfight.net is his website.
Tony is a great guy and totally legit. His instructionals have some great material, and he has something of a niche in trying to be the first guy to put out instructionals that cover "hot" new positions and moves.
That said, the quality and organization of his instructionals are definitely below average, more in line with something you would have seen 10-15 years ago. The price is fairly low. So it's kind of a tradeoff, all things considered. Don't go in expecting anything on the level of Kesting's slickly produced and superbly organized instructionals, for example, because Tony's stuff is definitely budget and disorganized by comparison.
thank you for the review. Save me some $$
I guess this thread proves why I originally posted anything in the first place. I love this site and was trying to help. I personally have not had a good experience all around.
That being said, I do think its awesome there are several guys vouching for Tony. This website, especially the smaller forums can be helpful and informative.
