The initial rankings on this thread are horrible. The Brazilian and smac1 are on point here.

yeah, smac1 rankings are good.

And I see people are still thinking with the same cap, prior to recent results.. Smell the coffee, times are a changing..

I agree, but I would love to se BEN ROTHWELL hit some bigger names. I know him, and have watched him many times. He is Fucking brutal. He's on like a 8 or 9 win streak. I would honestly include him as an honorable mention to that list.

I have Rothwell at #14, myself. That is one thing the Brazilian's list is missing.

ttt

1) Fedor - Pride Champ.

2) Randy Couture - UFC Champ

3) Nog - Former Pride Champ. Only person to dominate him was Fedor

4) Gonzaga - Destroyed Crocop on all fronts. Has finished all of his UFC fights pretty impressively

5) Crocop - OWGP Champ. Owns Barnett - can't beat the top guys.

6) Barnett - Holds a win over Nog (which was questionable), Couture - can't beat Crocop.

7) Sylvia - Former UFC Champ. Awkward, but powerful and more technical than people give him credit for. a terrible matchup for most fighters.

8) Arlovski - Former UFC Champ. Overly cautious against top competition, but still wins.

9) Werdum - Competitive with Arlovski and Nog - Choked out Aleks and TKO'd Gonzaga

10) Aleks - Smooth, Huge - but with questionable heart - but still a beast

Sorry, but Jeff Monson should be Higher ranked thank Aleksander

you're right - i forgot about monson. his last 2 years have been very impressive.

I would now put monson at 9) and Werdum @ 10)

1. Fedor - Pride Champ

2. Mino Noguerra

3. Gonzaga

4. Crocop

5. Barnett

6. Randy Couture

7. Tim Sylvia

8. Andrei Arlovski

10. Werdum

11. Mark Hunt

12. Jeff Monson

13. Aleksander Emelianenko

14. Sergei Kartinov

15. Brandon Vera

16. Roman Zetsof

17. Paul Buentello

18. Ben Rothwell

19. Ricco Rodriquez

20. Eric Pele

21. Antonio Silva

Its a good debate, rally a tough list to fill after the 1st 10. But yes Rothwell is somewhere on there.
