I'm looking to put some highlights together of some of the best submissions in the UFC over the last couple of years.
Let me know which matches you thought had the most impressive submission victory. Thanks.

Hughes and GSP's first fight when Hughes pulled off that slick armbar with no time left.
Mir/Williams
Mir/Tank was a pretty slick sub to.Omoplata to toehold.
I have Hughes's rear nakeds against Trigg... I had forgotten about the armbar against GSP. Thanks!
Mir/Williams
Karo/Strasser
Genki Sudo/Leigh Remedios
ttt
ufc.com has a "Top 10 Submissions of 2006" article, with about 15 "honorable mentions".
Monson's darce against Hinkle (UFC 57?) was sick, dude's eyes rolled into
the back of his head.
Best ones I've seen have been Pride.
Sakuraba vs Newton was an awesome match.
Sakuraba vs Vernon White was a great one too.
Sakuraba vs Renzo Gracie.
Big Nog vs Yokoi/Herring
Fedor vs Coleman 1 and 2
Fedor vs Randleman
Oh, anyone got a gif. of that sweet gogoplata in this last pride? I can't think of the guys name, Hansen was the loser and the winner was Aoki or something? I'm stoned and can't really think of it right now.
UFC:
BJ Penn vs Matt Hughes 1
Ken Shamrock vs Dan Severn 1
Royce Gracie vs Jason Deleucia
Ken Shamrock vs Pat Smith
Frank Shamrock vs Kevin Jackson
Jason MacDonald vs Chris Leben
Genki Sudo vs Mike Brown
Frank Mir vs Tim Sylvia (Granted Sylvia never submitted)
Any good triangles out there? I'm also trying to throw in a Kimura, but I can't remember any.
great kimura has already been mentioned: Karo-Strasser
edit:beat me to karo, Spencer Fisher vs Thiago Alves
Tanner hit a slick triangle on Levens. It bordered on a flying triangle. Genki/Brown was another nice triangle.
Bonnar's kimura on Irvin was nasty. Karo hit a beautiful throw to kimura on Strasser.

Didnt Babalu tap out Chael Sonnen to an ankle lock or something? That should be mentioned because I think you could actually hear Sonnen yelling in pain. Im not sure if thats right though.
No Babalu caught him with a heel hook, and though he screamed he was able to get out of it.
Babalu later won with a trangle.
Thanks I couldnt remember
Franca's triangle from mount over Joe Jordan would also be a cool triangle.
Franca also applied a very unorthodox armbar on Varner.
This is going back a while, but Oleg hit a rolling kneebar to Achilles lock on Beneteau in UU95. That was dope.
MacDonald's guillotine on Leben is worth mentioning.
Good call on Franca/Jordan.
How about Hermes Franca's last match in the UFC (against Jamie Varner). It was a pretty slick armbar, plus he pulled it off in the last round of a fight he was losing.
