This game will rule ...it won't dethrone wow but it will be a great game and will do ok
I played on the beta and it does kinda feel like I was playing a wow clone ...but a great one

This. The guys at BIOWARE had very little to do to slide in the first slot. Blizzard is a carebear version of its former self.
Can't deny that WOW is currently suiciding itself. Still think lightsabers are gonna get a bit samey after a while.
My prediction is that this starwars mmrpg will do well for a while, but then fade pretty fast.

Wow is loosing people but its still a jjuggernaut and I know a lot of people that resubbed when they release the next xpac info
Casual people won't buy Tor hardcore mmoers and star war fans will get it ..
We will have to wait and see ..I hope it does good ..competititon is great for developing
Thats exactly what i was expecting. Exactly what i am wanting. WOW can keep the Tards. All the hardcore MMO players will be heading to TOR. It getting bad reviews from the masses wont change that. In fact it might encourage them to move over.

-Multiple improvements to chat and UI, including click-to-tell and item hyperlinks.

I will continue to pvp and I have even begun finishing up leveling a Lock to pvp with. The game is still fun for me with the bgs and mostly arenas. The promise of the Monk class is really cool too.

I'm looking forward to TOR and all but when 5000 people are on a server and 4990 of them have Lightsabers it is going to fucking blow dicks skinless. That's just the truth. I'm even going to be running a Sith Warrior day one so I will be one of the 4990.
lol Let 99% of the population of the realm use a lightsaber. While they are all in a melee cluster fuck, ill be sittin pretty laying back lobbing fucking rockets at them all. So much death will be dealt the first few months of this game, my gawd. All the fun will be with the ranged classes. So many nerds to kill, so little time
To be honest. Im a PvP guy. But i find myself really just looking forward to diving into the solo part of this game. Ive downloaded a lot of beta footage in HD off torrents. High high quality stuff. You really cant get a feel for it until youve seen one of these. It really pulls you into PvE. To think its not even out of beta yet. The graphics are fucking amazing

i agree with you here. always been a PvP guy too (a poor one at that), but lately PvE has taken my fancy and it seems for ToR that is the strong point. I have really enjoyed tanking on my pally in WoW lately so what is a good tanking class gonna be in ToR? I heard there is even ranged tanking?
yeap, Both the trooper and the Bounty hunter have tanking trees. Im a little jealous. Enjoy your pally. Thats the class that made wow for me. Which is why im rolling Bounty hunter after much thought. Its the closest class and play style to a pally with a heal, tank and dps tree. As well as the ability to wear the heaviest armor in game.
