Now my left hand looks like a swollen frog and I won't be able to do jiu-jitsu or lift for a while.
Luckily my right hand is fine and I can pour myself some fine bourbon to get my pity party started :)

Go get it looked at. I didn’t and my thumb gets tired shaving in the morning. If it’s bad like mine they will need to stitch it back together.

No but when I heard that disgusting "snap" sound my hand went immediately numb and I knew there was a joke waiting to be told somewhere.
At 18yo I got locked out of my house so I climbed up to my bedroom window and tried to open it and put my hand straight through the glass. It cut my nerves and tendons and ligaments. Until I got done with surgery (2x) I spent a year looking exactly like Bob Dole. It was the same time he ran for Prez so everyone made fun of it. Today I am fine but I don’t have feeling in most of that hand. The good news is I can jack off and if I close my eyes I think it’s another person.

Hurt my right thumb at work a few months ago but had been smoking weed so couldn't mention it. It's out of my system now but my thumb is still fucky so I've got an appointment with a specialist next week. Hopefully I don't need an mri.

I've fucked up ligaments on my hand and at the base of my foot. It's a disgusting sound and when the numbness hits you you know you are 100% fucked.
How much does an MRI typically run? I have a shoulder and knee fucked from jits and work over the years but I don't wanna break bread twice to get each looked at separately.
Something tore in my knee in December when someone tried to bodylock throw me and my foot stayed on the ground..its like 99.9% better but still hurts very slightly when getting up from being seated Indian and such. Had a buddy from work tell me I should get it looked at as he put something similar off once and ended up needing 2 knee surgeries cuz the damage caused by his delay in seeking treatment.

I have no idea how much it costs... If my doctor requests it my health insurance just covers the cost and pays the lab directly.
