Idiotic comment. Former Pride champ ko's former two-time "Ultimate Fighter" TV show loser, so therefore Pride is better than UFC.
If this is the typical mentality of the average Pride fan, then I'm afraid the real difference between the two organizations is in the fanbase IQ. And it won't be in Pride's favor...

Many have said often that Leben has some of the most awful standup around -- in fact, I can't think of anyone in the UFC right now who looks worse in the striking department. He will always be able to get some wins by virtue of his hard head and heavy hands, but in no way was he ever the cream of the UFC crop.
And how about 4x UFC loser Baroni going to Pride and promptly KTFO of three of their top guys at 183?
Like Rogan said...Silva works angles...he's an amazing technical striker...Leben is used to fighting brawlers...not world class Muay Thai fighters...

I love Pride AND the UFC but seriously dude, PRIDE IS BETTER. Yes, they are individual fighters fighting their own fights. And yes,the UFC has a handful of top notch fighters. But pride has an army of them. Sometimes it seems as though the UFC is taking advantage of the fact that many mainstream fans in the US dont know about pride by being cheap.

blah, blah, blah.....yes Silva destroyed Leben, so that does not prove a thing except Silva is better than Leben, and that really is not much of a surprise as he was a big test for Leben. Has nothing to do with Pride vs. UFC, and to say it does is a real stretch since Silva has been fighting in Cage Rage in England for his last couple fights. Lets see how he does with some of the big dogs of the UFC @ 185 lbs.

they no doubt brought Silva in to kill leben. There was no way anyone honestly gave leben a shot. Now Anderson got maximum exposure with minimum risk and is a well known name in TUF households. His fight with Rich Franklin will be huge.
