toughman training

if u had 5 weeks to train for a toughman tournment what kind of training would u do?

Lots of sparring and hitting the heavybag for 30 second all-out intervals.

I agree about the sparring and hittign the heavy
bag. When sparring remember to keep your hands
high at all times, throw combinations, move your
head from side to side, and throw a lot of body
punches. I don't think those guys can take it in the
gut. Also add running to your training. Opinions
vary on the best way to run, but I used to do wind
sprints working my way to a total of three miles.
Just walk inbetween each sprint.

Hey with Toughman contests i have seen in Australia while practicing sparing through straight punches and you will be half way there.
