TrainW/ Andrew McInnes, Ostap Manastyrski & EBayev

This Saturday, March 17th, BJJ and MMA clubs across the globe are coming together to raise funds for Seana Rossi, a purple belt from Toronto who is battling cancer. For some reason, her treatments are not fully covered by OHIP, and local (and even international) academies are coming together to help raise funds to help her.

OpenMat MMA and Musashi Martial Arts are proud to be participating in this worthy community event by running three workshops featuring some of Canada's top BJJ talent:

Saturday, March 17th 11:00-1:00
Elliott Bayev, 2009 No Gi Pan Am Silver Medalist, 2009 Abu Dhabi Pro Canadian Trial Purple/Brown/Black Belt Champion
Developing An Aggressive Closed Guard
(Good For Beginner & Intermediate Players)

Saturday, March 17th 1:00-3:00
Ostap Manastyrski, 2011 No Gi Pan Am Silver Medalist, 2012 Abu Dhabi Pro Canadian Trial Purple Belt Champion
Attacking, Maintaining and Finishing From The Back
(Good For Intermediate and Advanced Players)

Sunday, March 18th 2:00-4:00
Andrew McInness of Musashi Martial Arts, MMA Fighter and One of Canada's Most Highly Decorated BJJ Competitors ( for full list of accomplishments)
Omo Plata For No Gi BJJ & MMA
(Good For All Level Players)

These seminars will be held at OpenMat BJJ & MMA in Toronto, are open to all and are "pay what you can". Suggested donation is $25, minimum $10. 100% of proceeds will go to Seana, so if you're not attending a seminar at your own academy on either of those days, please come support a worthy cause and a true warrior.

Thanks for the support and very special thanks to Melissa Biscardi for her efforts in organizing this great event.

Email to register.

Thanks and best of luck to Seana from everyone at OpenMat MMA & Musashi Martial Arts.
