i know they arent some sort of powerhouse or anything, but Ramapo is a local, small state school on the NJ/NY state borders where many local kids attend, most commuters/working at the same time
we hire our interns and temps from that College and they actually produce proficient kids compared to other local schools here.
lots of these local kids were good high school athletes that would qualify for financial aid , based/helped by their athletics 9since D3 schools cannot give athletic scholarships)
so this queerdo guy kid took some poor female’s spot and financial aid

His Mom, dad or lack there of are why this is possible. No one that isn’t a severely damaged person would except this. It’s “my kid is special and excepted by everyone” to a mental illness degree. The parent(s) have everyone around them yielding to their delusions.
The other parents know it’s wrong but they fear being labeled a “bigot” more than they value defending their own children. Then there are a few that actually subscribe to the nonsense out of a sense of being “virtuous”, Despite actually doing more harm in the long run.

This trans woman/men taking over womens sport is starting to take the piss, even here in the UK. Last week a woman pool player walked out on a final of a tournament as she was having to play vs a man, she played the lag, shook hands with the ref and walked off. She’ll no doubt be vilified in the press if its really mentioned at all
