Just got back from the first edition of the "Tri-State Smoker Fights" up in Scranton PA on Saturday.
Some of the best F'n fights I've seen in a long time. These "amatures" left more sweat, blood and tears in that ring than 90% of the pros in the last 3 UFC's.
Anyone else out there attend? If so I think you'll agree with me.

As you probably know, MMA is illegal in PA so they ran boxing, kick bxoing, muay thai, san da and grappling with striking on the feet.
15 fights in all and, at best, 2 clunkers in the bunch.
The plan is to run them every couple months and hopefully get more schools/fighters involved from both within PA and the surrounding states.
I grew up in Philly and PA/NJ/NY was the tri-state. now I live outside Manhattan and it's NY/NJ/CT.
FYI MMA was legalized in PA awhile ago.
