Hughes has defeated people with submissions. He has won using everything from armbars to rear naked chokes to arm triangle chokes. He has more submission victores than Trigg ever will. George St. Pierre can wrestle, strike and grapple in MMA better than Trigg can.
He was referring to the fact that you need to quit making some many goddamn pointless threads. He wasn't putting words into your mouth, you legitimately clog this place with threads about the most pointless stuff. Several everyday.

St. Pierre totally dominated Spratt (not as bad as St. Pierre dominated Trigg himself) and never had Spratt in a triangle during their match.
they went back and forth in each other's guard with St. Pierre pulling off some slick sweeps, then finally finishing off the fight by RNC.
Perhaps a well-rounded fighter would work on defending the RNC a bit more......

Trigg criticizing Hughes/St.Pierre's fighting ability = The Rock criticizing Jack Nicholson's acting ability.
Hey dorks, lets not forget Trigg also only thinks he is a "B" level fighter. He believes the status of an "A" level fighter is reserved for the champs.
I just think he has very high standards, which he also holds himself to.
As long as he is consistent, I see nothing wrong with that.
Besides, Hughes is an amazing fighter- but who actually thinks he is well rounded? He isnt!
Matt's been subbed, asked Superman and BJ, GSP has been subbed, ask Matt, what's with the hate, people fight and occasionally, they lose.
Trigg's opinion counts more than most, reason being that he put it on the line and fought both, and even though he lost, he alone is in the best position to criticize.
He's the man in the arena. He's correct in his analysis as to what 'he thinks' a well rounded fighter can do, and then he discussed two of the top fighters right now and what anyone has yet to see from them, he wasn't being cynical, just offering his firsthand, informed opinion.
Stop the hate and remove the blinders, you might learn something.
