I’d check it out. Loved one. The second was good just not as good. Third was sort of good but was paced way too slowly.

True detective should have been one season, and looked at as a new format, something between a movie and a series.
Season one was great and there never needed to be any other seasons, just more content in that same format.

I liked all the seasons. Every one of them had good moments. 100% better than 70% of the rest of whats out there.
