True or false

I have always been told that light weight and a lot of reps will give you that cut look. I found this website that has a lot of cool shit on it. But they say this isn't true can someone read this and let me know what you think?

The facts in the article are legit.

Losing fat, not high reps, will give you the 'cut' look. Losing fat is mainly a matter of diet, although exercise can help. But not 50 reps of 10# lying cable reverse preacher curls.

Thanks

I didn't read the article. But, what Polishfighter stated is correct. Also, you burn a LOT more calories with a few sets of good heavy deadlifts than you do with lots of reps of preacher curls.
